Dear New Patient,

Welcome to Northwestern Center for Orthopedics!

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I was born and raised in Lemont, Illinois. I earned my degree in Pre-Professional Studies at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1996 with honors as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I went on to attend medical school at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, I continued with training in orthopaedic surgery at McGaw Medical Center, Northwestern University. I then pursued advanced training in disorders of the foot and ankle at the Sigvard T. Hansen Foot and Ankle Institute at Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington School of Medicine, located in Seattle, Washington.

My practice is focused on advanced care of the foot and ankle, including traumatic conditions, post-traumatic arthritis and deformity, degenerative and rheumatoid arthritis, sports related injuries, achilles tendon disorders, bunions, and lesser toe deformities, as well as orthopaedic trauma. I strive to provide you as much information as possible to ensure that you make an informed decision on your treatment options. Since I joined Northwestern Center for Orthopedics, it has been my mission to provide you the same excellent service and care that I would offer to a member of my family.

In addition to my extensive medical commitments, In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, running, boating, downhill skiing, and cars.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Northwestern Center for Orthopedics. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available.

I am looking forward to meeting with you.

Sincerely,

Bryan Lapinski, M.D.

    From Dr. Lapinski

I do realize that the extra time we require before your office visit might be a little inconvenient; however, it ensures that we have your correct information to help us better manage your care.

Additionally, I apologize in advance in case you have to wait to see me. In some cases, patients require special attention or I may have calls to the hospital to manage surgical patients' care. Under such circumstances, the staff of Northwestern Center for Orthopedics and I will do our best to see you as soon as possible and make sure you receive individualized attention.
